Parental involvement – you are an important partner in your child’s education
Communication between school and home is vital to ensuring your child gets the most out of their time at school. You are very welcome at our school to talk to our staff at any time and we welcome your comments whether positive or negative. Most importantly we will always listen to you and will aim to help you whenever we possibly can.
There are many ways to be involved in your child’s school life and we look forward to seeing you in the classroom and around the school.
The parents’ roster is a great way of doing this. The roster is an opportunity for you to observe your child in the learning environment and share in their learning experiences.
We also welcome you to participate in any of the following:
- Parent meetings;
- Parent evenings;
- P & C Association meetings;
- School Council;
- Rosters for canteen support and other school activities; and
- School excursions;
See your child’s class teacher for more information.
